Strengthening Dairy Sector Partnerships Beyond Borders

During the three-day 3rd DairyTech Africa Expo & Conference at KICC, the Kenya Dairy Board (KDB) used the platform to sensitize dairy stakeholders and the public on its regulatory mandate, programmes and interventions aimed at safeguarding the quality and safety of milk and milk products in Kenya.
The Expo also provided an opportunity to deepen regional collaboration. KDB was privileged to host Mr. Gerald Chivete of the Zimbabwe Association of Dairy Farmers for a courtesy visit to the KDB Headquarters and the National Dairy Regulatory Laboratory at Upper Kabete.
Received by the Director, Regulatory Services Mr. Paul Ndungu, Mr. Chivete engaged KDB technical teams on the similarities and differences between the Kenyan and Zimbabwean dairy sectors, with discussions exploring knowledge exchange, technical collaboration and opportunities to strengthen intra-African dairy trade.
As Kenya’s dairy regulator, KDB remains committed to building partnerships that advance quality, safety, innovation, competitiveness and sustainable growth across Africa’s dairy value chains.
From Policy to Prosperity. Securing Kenya’s Dairy Future. 🇰🇪🥛
